Exploring the American West

I spent one week in Nevada, California, Utah, and Arizona exploring the natural world. I have now visited all 48 of the lower U.S. States along with Hawaii. The National Parks are truly one of the United States’ best ideas.

Historic Main Street – St. Charles, MO

A mid October evening walk took me through the 200 year old buildings, to live music playing at local restaurant and along the Missouri River. Savoring every beautiful evening before the winter takes over Missouri.

A Day With The Dead…

A day at the historic Bellefontaine Cemetery in North St. Louis County. I avoided photographing the famous graves and tombs and focused on the details.

Is There Anybody Out There?

I decided to go out to the woods to see what was waiting for me today. Sometimes in my hectic life, I forget that other living organisms exist. It only took about five steps into the forest before I stumbled on to my old friends.

A Walk Around The Lake

During my walk tonight, I became more aware of my surroundings. It was as if I just started to see the the things I had tuned out. Not necessarily attractive, but intriguing none the less.
