Spent the day birdwatching with students at the August Busch Conservation Area. I couldn’t get any good pictures of the Oriole, Red Winged Blackbird, or Killdeer, but managed to grab these:

An Accidental Beauty
The cool of the summer…
As the summer heats up in the Midwest of the United States, the humidity levels and temperatures hover around 90% and 90 degrees respectively, the mountains beckon. I will take any mountains, but this photo was taken in early July at Glacier National Park. I didn’t realize the camera was set for black and white, but it worked.
