Emergence of the Clematis

This morning these purple flowers erupted from their sleep.

    Loooove clematis. Growing up, we always took our pictures in front of our clematis. It began with just a few blooms in our youth; by the time I graduated high school it had become a wall of impenetrable purple.

    Pictures two and four remind me of my “The Wall” t-shirt.
